<description>I definitely agree that the EU has an excellent opportunity to forge ties with Latin America, especially when it comes to tackling the drug trade. I&#039;d like to add Brazil as another key country in the drug war; it has now become a major middleman country and shipment point for cocaine coming from Colombia and Bolivia en route to Europe. Smugglers have taken advantage of crossing the border in the Amazon, which has a minimal police presence, as well as using river routes in the Amazon.
